This was a learning moment. What he should've seen in preseason and training camp is happening now. Whatever.
He was poised and he was already setting rushers up for his patented rollout move instead of being 100% reactionary to the rush like he was in preseason.
But the number 1 thing he did positively was look deep to short. He got excessive pressure because of this, but he had the eye to make plays. All great QBs does this

Any other qb goes 4/16 a pick and several sacks they getting cooked mercilessly. you regularly have people calling Lamar, Allen washed.
yet we are supposed to act like Shadeur showed anything but a bad game.
He could be better next game, but saying he had anything to build off of here beyond getting live reps is very optimistic.
We’ve seen QBs come out on short notice and not look shytty like this. Stop using that as an excuse for that piss poor performance.

I love the fact he's comfortable rolling left and right. He's a fluid thrower of the ball. Already shounga willingness to play off schedule and see's opportunities to run when available

He went 4/16. Threw a pick, nearly fumbled and was called for intentional grounding. Lowest passer rating by someone with at least his number of attempts since 2021. JJ McCarthy is terrible and even he managed to put up better numbers than that last week.
Gotta take advantage of your moment when you get the chance breh. Hopefully he gets another one but that was a bad game.

I mentioned Dillon and Cam ward cause they both currently have the worst QBR ratings in the league. Both are rookies and struggling for multiple games. I dont think Cam ward is garbage. I think Dillion is extremely limited but not complete garbage either. But we got over 5 games to judge those two on and the jury is still out on them despite the poor play.
1 half of a game is not enough to judge a rookie who was thrown into his first game, especially one that hasn't been getting 1st team reps. We don't do that for any rookie, Cam and Dillon included, so lets not do that to Shaduer.
