I don't ride, but I do have my license. The first thing you teach is clutch control. Anytime you feel like you going too fast, pull in the clutch. I'd never tell a beginner to pull the throttle because that video is exactly what can happen.

Nope. Brakes are powerful as shyt on a motorcycle. If you grab the brake wrong, you'll be thrown forward which causes panic which leads to more brake or you'll accidentally throttle

Pulling in the clutch is the first thing you should do until you learn proper braking.

I remember I had to talk this young cat out of buying a CBR1100XX Blackbird for his 1st bike, told him to find something used and small to learn on.
