I can definitely see something like this happening. Just don't think Eren bought it that easily. And everyone for months now have been figuring he probably wasn't really there, since he has the warhammer titan powers.

The whole with Ymir and the former titan shifters helping Armin an co out is throwing me off on some stuff tho
