i know me and my brother rented that game like 50x’s. The rock falling segments you gotta scale, the fire magic move, the wall jumping, kunai, run slash moves, etc.

they maintained about as much of the essence of those games as they could while updating the mechanics and look

This I had the game for Genesis and even the levels you can see are from Shinobi 3 especially the surfing level and the Forrest level. It’s an instant cop for me because I fukked with Shinobi 3 heavy.

That game was so hard, difficulty and cool pretty sure I never beat it

The controls weren't responsive enough for all that platform jumping and bullshyt camera angles.

I like it, but lack of follow through made me not want to play it

It shows you what a terribly ran company Sega is that they have all these legendary IP's and they did nothing with them for nearly 3 decades. Looking forward to this game. SOR 4 was a great game and this looks like it will be as well
