I've maybe mentioned before that I am friends with George Gilder's daughter. For those who do not know, he was Reagan's economic advisor and the father of "trickle-down economics." He was a ward of David Rockefeller. You wouldn't be able to differentiate him from any other senior if you ran into him at a Big Y on a weekend, and he almost literally owns half of a town. What people don't realize about the supply chain (but will find out quickly in the next couple years) is that most luxury goods are 95% made in China, but then shipped to their "home" countries for finishing work, which as long as it is the final "necessary" change (i.e. adding a zipper), it can be stated as being "made in Italy." If cats are really about looking fly, it's not that hard to get a few heads together and buy blanks from Chinese vendors, as many factories are able and willing to do smallish runs for not too much of a premium. There are a ton of YouTube channels explaining the process.
