what I'm confused about was ESPN really going to just drop the story based on the initial 2 payment claim? that's how the journalist on first take made it sound.

it so that's still journalistic malpractice because even if it was something minor like the initial lie, it's still major news that the best player in the world was making payments to bookies. these fukks trying to protect one of their partners once again. ESPN is corrupt as hell if I didn't misunderstand that part.
I don’t understand this post, the first paragraph is saying that they were gonna and the second makes it sound like they weren’t? :jbhmm:

ignore that post I think I misheard her say something about the story getting scrapped and because she said she had sourcing back to 2021 I got confused over what story ESPN scrapped.

but I guess it was the "scrapped story" was the one that they were going to release yesterday before the Dodgers fired the interpreter? I don't know, this shyt is convoluted as fukk.

Ohtani definitely guilty that 4.5 mil of gambling debt doesn't make sense for Ippei like it does for Ohtani

It’s genius.

His “interpreter” is does everything for him. Bank accounts, pays his taxes, texts his side pieces, talks to the balco mandem and everything. :ohhh:
watched a documentary on him last year, he really doesn't handle his own money, his parents do/did for YEARS, but now that he's in america, I'm guessing its the interpreter. dude really doesn't know how to handle cash like that, and in america he better learn quick.
