Memphis is the only team that clearly exposes that Steph has lost a step. That’s not really a knock to Steph but more just how athletic the entire Grizzlies roster is. The Warriors still don’t have an excuse as Memphis plays a stupid brand of basketball due to their inexperience.

Steph is still good enough to be your best player, but he can’t carry dead weight like Draymond anymore. Klay won’t be the Klay until some point next year but he’s better than what he’s showing in this series. The team has to be more conscious of running sets for him instead of having him float around hoping for a kick out.

The CLEAR issue is GS has a coach who has never been able to make in-game adjustments and a washed up Draymond who can no longer defend anyone who runs and jumps—and is even worse on offense than he was last year (which I thought was impossible). Steph deserves better.

Should’ve traded Draymond in 2018 or 2019 at the latest and fired Kerr at the same time :yeshrug:.
Offense and defense is 1000’times better when kuminga is in for dray

Draymond cheap shots but he doesn't do it to harm your career.
No biggie, just return the favor, next time Ja goes up for a dunk, send a goon in to run full speed behind him and push him out of the air. :yeshrug:

Ja about to inherit a BOATLOAD of haters if the Warriors get eliminated. You already have the antiquated and lame ass crowd out there with the, "He has a lot to learn", "He hasn't accomplished enough in this league to be acting like this", "He's dancing with the shot mid-air!!!", "He's talking too much shyt", "He's talking too much shyt on social media", "His dad is so fukking annoying!!!"...

:mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls: :mjpls:

I already know the second that last buzzer goes off, if Memphis wins, this nikka here going to be public enemy number 1 to a lot of Steph and Warriors fans. He also gonna be talking big shyt and stunting like a bytch if it happens too.

decent series

thread is being ruined by terrible hot takes
as usual in the NBA refs will decide the series more than people pointing fingers and crying on here
when games are this close nobody has the advantage like people are alluding to

Don't know if they know but Ja is right-handed and they're technically saying to force him to his strong hand.

NBA media man :snoop:

Ja goes left more often most likely because teams don't want him to go right.

Main issue is dude a straight up match-up problem left or right tbh. It's that simple and now GS's main defender is gone for the series.

Steph needs to stop turning it over. Had 5 turnovers, and 4 came in the 4th. if he’s not gonna shoot efficiently, then he can at least stop turning over the ball. For god sakes, he’s a damn point guard

klay is doing the same goofy shyt that was an issue in January. Klay is older than me. If no one on the team is gonna tell him to stop chucking like Kelly Oubre, then the whole culture is soft. Klay is soft for being a 32 year old that can’t be told like a grown man to stop fukking up the offense. And the entire team/staff is soft for walking on eggshells about something that has been going on since January

draymond’s play has been poor these last 2 games. Turnovers galore and his traffic redirection offense hasn’t worked well

Poole needs to stop over dribbling. He’s been fine for the most part, but he’s dribbling too damn much and slipping all over the court.

Kerr needs to tell his team to stop giving up switches so goddamn easily. And stop giving Ja 5 feet of space so he can do warm-up threes.

There are a lot of right hand dominant guys who prefer going left. Lebron is probably the best example. Vince Carter was another one. I haven’t watched enough Ja to know if forcing him right would help but it’s worth a shot if he’s torching them going left :yeshrug:

It's funny because in that article:
But sending Ja right won’t necessarily help since he tends to shred going that way too. This season, the Grizzlies scored at nearly identical rates when Morant drove left (1.017 points per possession) or right (1.018). The old game plan hasn’t worked as well against Morant as it did in his rookie season.

Pretty much was a way to generate clicks, hot takes and talking points tbh. NBA media has got good at it.
