Get an apartment in the abandoned Sears Auto Center attached to the mallI hate the fact that we have to “adapt” and find innovate ways to live because a fundamental need has become just another speculative asset to be bought and sold.
I don’t want to live in no god damn mall tf
I want to be able to bring hoes to the bungalow and drink beer with my patnas with the garage open on weekends.
I've been seeing more and more people on this type of timeWe're going to get to the point where we start building storage facilities specifically for people just so they can have a shelter. There has been a dramatic increase of people living out their cars already. It's really a sad and broken system.
We've got one of those in Wichita as well not downtown though. But not far from the University. Though the biggest tenant is moving to an actual restaurant building. We've also had a few pop up food spots open with the shipping container framework.theyre doing similar shyt here in tulsa... some hipsters bought some old train boxcars and built this abomination downtown

google 'the boxyard tulsa' if you wanna see more of this goofy nonsense
Compared to the malls of the last century, bland deconstructed shyt like this spells death.theyre doing similar shyt here in tulsa... some hipsters bought some old train boxcars and built this abomination downtown

I get the concept of re-purposing a mall but actually make the effort to be real apartments with proper spaces/kitchens etc.
The people who adapt will always have options. Life is always better when you give yourself options.
the overwhelming majority of people in latin america don't have access to next day delivery for e-commerce. and far more people are cash only consumers. This is only an American problem. Malls are thriving in Latin America and Asia
this is cool and all, but at the end of the day, that van is a depreciating asset. plus something like that would cost like 100K anyways, so ur still stuck with a huge payment.
This from the mind that advocates paying for YouTube.
Brava, signore...brava.
