I'd argue that this is more of a proxy war between the Saudis and Iran. Of course there are much larger players in all of it, but I honestly think for now those two pieces are pulling most of the strings. Just my opinion though.

Saudis bytch asses don't hold weight in this, this is Israel pushing us into war with Iran. And Syria is the pre-fight before the war begins. Destroying Syria would sever tactical ties between Hezbollah and Iran.
