He might not even be the starter next year. He should ride this hot streak straight into the pros! :smugbiden:
100% should if he had starting job on lock next year then stay, but ride this out to the pros for a couple reasons..

He isnt over hyped he wont go high, aka a shyt team. Make a team draft him late first or 2nd round. Go to NE or Bal somewhere with a starter there where he can ride the bench for 2 years.

  • Ride bench behind a college QB broke
  • Ride bench behind a great QB like Brady or Flacco learning the NFL system and collecting checks?

if I were him I'd enter

Jones has youth and lack of experience but he has the tools. His experience will probably stop him from bein a first rounder now, but thats not a bad thing. With the stock he has now, he hasn't shown too many downsides, shown his upsides and won the big game. The nfl can't ignore that as a prospect regardless of the sample size. More time would mean more time to get exposed, more time to solidify habits not good for the pro game. a good team could take a chance and draft him as a developmental QB and coach him up which is ultimately a better career arc for a pro. People loving throwing their shiny new QBs to the wolves these days even when the QB and the team aren't ready. Especially Heisman winners gifted to struggle teams picking in the top 5 :sadcam:

Russell Wilson had it best, be an underrated prospect on a good team

Why a head coach would talk loose like that about the guy who just won him a championship is beyond me.

That's how Urban is....Even Saban wouldn't have said anything like that to the media.....if there was anything negative to be said about a player, its should be done privately on the phone with an inquiring GM....not in front of the media brass

Why would Baltimore select him though? Whats wrong with Flacco? you think they cut him to save money or something soon?

The best team for him to go is Philadelphia where he can take a year of unless Foles gets injured...MAYBE even a team like the Cowboys or Cardinals. fukk both of them squads though

Some of you guys might be the dumbest mfs ever. Thank god none of you guys actually have real nfl talent bc if you guys did it will be wasted. Why the hell will he enter the draft when he only played three games? He will start next year and could learn more about playing qb and become a better prospect.

Uncertain grounds
He already got the D-riding LeBron co-sign. He'd probably sign with Rich Paul as his agent and get hella endorsements.

The only thing that I possibly see keeping him in the mid-rounds is the salary cap. Teams might think he needs a few seasons of grooming..therefore he's only gonna have a couple years on rookie contract and then he'd be up for a huge raise...rather than an "NFL ready" guy who they can use off the bat. But I think everyones gonna be lookin at each other hoping he drops and some team is gonna take the plunge and grab him rather than just wait and hope he falls to them.

Jones is more mobile than Leftwich and has a much quicker release in regards to that comparison.

He won't last to the middle rounds. :laff:

You all are not listening. Manziel went in the top 22 picks last year.... Mariota going in the top 20 this year.

Its like what you see with your eyes is not corresponding with what you are typing on your keyboard. Cardale just dusted Wisconsin, Alabama, and Oregon in succession while looking like the best QB on the field. He ain't going back to school to play Miami of Ohio and VT :laff:

Dude is outta there.

I don't know, I guess it's just me, but now that the salary cap on draft picks is restricted, as a QB, why would I want to go in the first 2 rounds? If I'm being picked by a team that NEEDS a quarterback it means I'm going to go into a situation that sucks.

do you really wanna be the qb for Tennessee?

do you really wanna be the qb for the bucs?

do you really wanna be the qb for the JETS?

what is staying in the NCAA going to do for him? How exactly is playing watered down zone defenses from the B1G going to help him progress?

Logan Thomas is on a team that should've been the #1 seed in the NFC. If Cardale was on that squad when Palmer went down, do we have any doubt that the team would've kept trucking? Instead Logan Thomas was having painful practices and every other cardinal qb was sucking ass.

Declare young man and don't look back. You're already better than 25% of the qb's out there.

And these guys have full bodies of work and were both Heisman winners. You're talking about a 3rd string QB who's only played in 3 college games being ready to make a leap to the NFL. There's no D-League in the NFL.

He needs to stay in school, learn more, polish his skills and come out when he has more experience.

Unless he just wants to run his check up :manny:

Is you stupid nikka. Dude might not be shyt. He just played a three game stretch that will get him drafted, he's dumb if he doesn't leave. You acting like they don't have QB coaches in the NFL.

Wrong. He needs to leave. There will be literally ZERO pressure on him to be anything until at least 2017. Dude can sit 2 years and nobody would say shyt. Yall acting like NFL coaches don't help polish players skills.

I know right.

These nikkas acting like an NFL jump is easy after 3 games. :laff:

This ain't the NBA brehs!!! And he's playing the hardest position in sports.

He hasn't even got first team reps all season in COLLEGE.

If he's taken in the 3rd or 4th and doesn't show the NFL teams what they want to see HE WILL BE CUT AND END UP BROKE!!!!

The NFL aint a Developmental league they don't have time for that.
