I'm not even an OSU fan (PSU alum) but it's hilarious how the conversation has shifted:
- beginning of the season: "the SEC is the NFL jr"
- OSU beats #1 Alabama in January: "yeah but Oregon is a different beast"
- OSU destroys Oregon: "yeah but they're not NFL ready"

This reminds me of that video of Serena and Venus Williams' father. The one where he's shytting on the interviewer for trying to make his daughter question her ability.

You have a young man who has shown extreme poise and overcome the toughest competition college football could muster together. But now we want him to play another season, for free, so that we can gather more tape on him?

So that he can be taught how to be a college quarterback? Have you guys not read stories of qb's coming to NFL camp and having to relearn the position all over again? Wouldn't it be better for him to come out now so he doesn't develop those bad habits?

He can play a whole season and understand the game better. Defenses will have film on him and we'll see if he has the ability to read them.

Which is the reason why he should leave NOW. dude just won the national championship. Played three games. And in three games has increased his stock more than any other player in the nation. I don't understand how yall are even making the argument he should stay.

Logan Thomas threw 53 TDs and 39 INTs 55 completion %. Went 5-26 against Alabama and 4-12 against UCLA as a SENIOR...

Good try... more noise.

Umm do you not realize that vtechs teams were fukking trash compared to this OSU team? Put Logan Thomas behind that line with those receivers he does the same shyt. That bama game had a load of drops

You mean the same line that VT destroyed

Or maybe you mean the line in Arizona where Thomas couldn't beat out a street FA?

Breh there is no way on earth that vts line was even fukking close to OSU's this year. They lost one game. We lost to wake forest.

Line was trash when Logan was at tech too. We were starting a fukking Chinese guy on the oline

Get all the fukking way out of here with that shyt

NO
you cats expose yourself and how susceptible you are to nfl qb propaganda

who is better - cardale jones or ryan lindley
who is beter - cardale jones or logan thomas
who is better - cardale jones or drew stanton

how much more tape do you need on this nikka? You need to see him play Minnesota for 2 more years? Nebraska? Northwestern? You don't even realize it, but he just played 2 bowls games (in other words he has as many bowl games under his belt as Jameis).

what is a regular season facing akron or bowling green going to do for him? what is a regular season facing piss poor zone defenses going to do for him?
Are you really going to compare this kid who played THREE collegiate games to a player who has proven to win at the NFL level?? :upsetfavre: :stopitslime:

His point and logic is understandable though. More than half of the back ups in the NFL are hot garbage. Go to the league, kill it at the combine, and get scooped up in the mid to late first or even second round, sit for a few years, and then feast. Coming back does NOTHING for his development as an NFL QB with the style of offense OSU runs. Hell it ain't even assured he's going to be the starter next year :heh:

If he's projected to go 6th round or better I say go for it

with his arm and size he will go higher
scouts love arms like that plus his size
if hes smart he declares for the draft and goes works out with george whitfield or something, gets a personal trainer loses like 15 pounds and hes set.

going back to school is nothing, hes already 22 with a kid get that money
