Urban gives no fukks....cause he just won the championship.

He knows he's got JT coming back as well. He probably wants to make sure Cardale stays in case JT gets hurt again.

eehh I honstly think Urb is keeping it real.
Its a reason why Cardale fell so low in the depth chart.
He had maturity issues ( I still remember that dumb ass tweet he sent) :snoop:

Its also the reason why he won't come out, he has a lot more to improve and show his maturity.

JT ain't starting over that nikka at this point.

I don't know how people don't understand that.
Urban ain't dumb.

Why a head coach would talk loose like that about the guy who just won him a championship is beyond me.
To make it about his coaching and team selection. Not the player. Basically saying any QB I had would work in my scheme.

Being selfish himself, I think for a coach to say that.

My brother decided to enter the draft even though all of the family wanted him to wait one more year. He seems money driven now though.

Also...

You can't discount race when it comes to how Cardale will be 'evaluated' if he declares. Some have already started doing it in this thread. The proverbial myth of 'book intelligence' and 'obedient demeanor' aka ... house negro sh*t. Anything that comes across as threatening off the field will be held against Cardale and how he projects on the field even though it has no relevance.

I'm convinced this happens because great GMs at the bottom of the draft wanna dupe the stupid one's at the top into letting the certain prospects fall.

The only REAL RISK for Cardale being drafted in the 1st round is wether he can play in the league or not....

That's it.

The same applies to Mariota and every other prospect, especially for OBs. Mariota putting up junk stats for three years in a 1 read offense is a much BIGGER risk than trying to dissect why Cardale was a 3rd string QB behind two great college QBs.

That's what I figured. If I'm Cardale I'm basically strong arming OSU by threatening to transfer though. I would hope he stays in school for one more year because if anything he can increase his draft stock.

1. One more year he can dispel any of the negative publicity about him being lazy, things NFL Scouts HATE.
2. We talk about how this upcoming draft class is weak outside of Winston and Mariota, but I don't hear a single name about next year's class. He could eat simply off that.
3. He doesn't have to play lights out like he did the past 3 games, but if he can put up respectable numbers given his god given physical characteristics he could leap into that first round.

It's a long year, but if Meyer is throwing shade like this it might be better to cool back smh.

You can keep it real with the player..

no need to keep it real on a radio interview after he saved your ass.

Its too bad he's not able to graduate early and play right away.

Him at LSU or Alabama :whoo:

I agree.

I kinda think Urban thought he was being positive by showing how Cardale "matured" or "came of age" but yea that shyt always comes back on the player when scouts start brining it up., and running it into the ground.
