Some true shyt. What other community worships the ignorant person and shyt on the person that is doing positive things? The most hated person in America is the black person that is on his education grind.

:comeon: okay. nobody is scared of a black person who collects college degrees.

This very site is guilty of this. People think I'm white because of how I type. It's like the existence of an educated black person is beyond their comprehension. I will probably get negged for this but I think hip hop music is a powerful vehicle for promoting ignorance. Many of the ignorant behavior we see on sites like worldstarhiphop are programmed into our children's minds via hip hop.

Some aspects, you are right, but some of those individuals will go as far as silencing your voice, even killing you. @alpo, black folks that are educated and humble scares everyone from the ignorant ass nikkas, the white folks subconsciously, and even bird brain hoes that chase certain type of dudes.

Some of these people scream that they came from the struggle and think that their opinion is worth more than yours simply because you didn't come from their immediate environment. Such ignorance I wonder, if they pass it down to their kids.

These last couple posts are examples of exactly what's wrong with our community. The question is "should successful black people do more to help the community" and the response is "black people ain't shyt"

:scusthov: at you nikkas

The shyt y'all saying isn't even true.

"Black people are the only ones that celebrate the wrong things" :beli: really? You ever watch MTV? White people made up the concept of "nerds" but black people are the only ones that diss acedemic achievement:rudy:

Blame it on hiphop. When millions of kids all around the world are exposed to hiphop without problems. But hip hop must be the cause of these poor people's problems.

"The world is afraid of the educated black man":mindblown: What? Is this really what we should be teaching our young men.:wtb: Ain't nobody scared of you.

Man history got black people's minds all fukked up, on both sides poor and successful. We ALL gotta do better. No matter how far removed you think you are from these "lazy" poor people. They are still YOUR community and YOU are half of the problem.

there are little things that can be done by every single person that would help inject heathiness into these communities. For example, when people from the "ghetto's" get higher paying jobs one of their first inclinations is to "move out of the hood". Why? If these people would simply stay in the "hoods" they are so quick to abandon they would provide diversity and living examples for others. But this isnt the case, these people dont stay. They elevate economically then eject from the "hoods", leaving the neighborhoods to be nothing but environments of constant despair. Places where people look around and see nothing but despair.............what kind of people do you expect to come from this kind of environment? This cycle creates a situation where anyone who wants to help, to be able to help, has to do it in an unfair proportion because they have to pick up the slack of others.

We dont have to look to the "educated/wealthy" ******s who dont support our communities to figure out whats wrong, look at yourselves. How many of you all live in neighborhoods that would be considered "hoods"? This is the problem.

Its true :ld: A lot of people are subconsciously scared of black folks that don't live up to stereotypes. Cause you are at the most unpredictable to those that try to hold you down in some way. I was saying to every black person is to educate yourself and not let any kind of crabs hold you down.

because they dont want to come home from work one day to find their house has been cleaned out. or get up in the morning to find their car has been broken into.

ya'll only examine one side and ignore the dangers of living around a certain element of ppl that dont share the same mindframe. say what yall want about the so called corny & lame brothers, but you dont have to worry about them running in ya house with guns.

the internet
I used to be on that "if you made it you should give back steeze"...but w/ the internet, there really is no excuse.
What exactly does 99.8% of the people in this country not have access to? Its not just black people, but people in this country in general are lazy.

Someone said the only example of success of black success are athletes etc... Really?
First off, why does it matter if a successful person is black? why cant you look at a white, Mexican, Asian etc... as motivation? And these kids dont have the ability to google black scientist, entrepreneurs etc...???

I mean, the info is just hanging from a tree nowadays...think of anything you want to do and I bet there are at least 10 people on the net teaching you how to do it.

This isnt just a black thing though. Our economy is trending towards the haves and have nots...if you know how to work and adapt youre good...but if your dumb ass wants to sit on the couch and collect a check its a wrap for you.

:snoop: these kids don't have the Internet, and they wouldn't know how to just google anything if someone didn't teach them.
