It's the adults that need the most help and also the ones that do the least to help themselves. A shortage of books does not disable someone from being educated but a parent that doesn't reinforce the importance of education does. It's the adults that need the most attention, not the chidren, imo. NOt saying that focusing on the Children isn't important, but I just think you'll get better results from children when their parents become stronger role models.

Where your little rant breaks down is that plenty of black people actualy do try, and still fail or come up short due to circumstance.

Put it this way. Line any 10 people up regardless of race and 5 of them will be stupid/lazy/unmotivated/etc.

If they are white people, the 5 smart ones will definately make it, and due to an abundance of opportunity 2 or 3 of the dummies will still make it.

If they were black people, due to a lack of opportunity the 5 dummies will definitely not make it and even 1 or 2 of the smart people won't make it.

It's inequality and its unfair for you to attribute complaints only to black folks that should be attributed to society as a whole.

I made over 100k last year and still stay in the hood, nobody broke into my house, nobody tried to rob me, none of that..............

I can only speak for my State/city but there are libraries with internet access in the hood. There are books. There are copy machines. As easy as you can get to the mall or grocery store, you can get to the library. Maybe it's not like that in your town.

If there are more negative role models than positive, alot of times the effort put into the children is counter productive. I think the focus should be on adults because they are making the children. If more adults were good role models, you wouldn't have as many fukked up children.

Lack of opportunity? If you can go to high school which is free you have an opportunity too. Get good grades and scholarships. People come to America with NOTHING and make something of themselves. THese excuses are getting old now. People piss away their opportunities.

What lesson? The kids don't have decent schools, books, teachers, or curriculums that even tell them what they should learn. How does a library or the Internet help if the kids don't even know how to use them? Furthermore kids need more than just the Internet to grow into well rounded adults. And you'd be surprised how many people don't have access to the Internet.

Communities fukked, opportunities scarce, schools fukked, but at least we got the Internet


How do you turn an adult into a good role model?

They already grew up through the bad influences. They are already undereducated. They have already made plenty of mistakes in their lives, including having kids they couldn't care for. But somehow we are gonna turn these people into model citizens and great parents.

and no we can't actually go help them that would be giving handouts. We just need to call them stupid and lazy till they get their shyt together
