Why not? There are “parents” outchea fukkin up kids lives and they’re growing up into unproductive, destructive citizens. Outside of any neurobiological issues, It ALL goes back to parenting and upbringing.

i cant say I agree, but I know I would be a horrible father. at least i know this about myself. i dont want anything to do with kids, and thats okay. i think people need to stop having kids for selfish reasons (ego/vanity) or having kids when flat broke thinking "kids are a miracle, god will provide..." i cant tell you how many times ive seen that backfire, fukking up the lives of like 4-5 people in the process.

What makes someone qualified to tell another person they can't have kids? That's fukkin retarded. And a lot of it is perspective. You may see a kid as a bad apple but that's from the outside looking in. You don't know their struggles or what they're going through. It's not only the parents fault some kids are destructive or unproductive. Some kids may just be born that way. It may have to do with their genes. You never seen twins who couldn't have turn out any more different? It may also be the environment they are forced to live in. There's a lot more I want to add but im going to take a nap.

You have a high level of awareness . Don’t count yourself out. Just monitor your growth . Your partners growth and allow yourself to be open when you beleive you’re at a better place ... and seriously ... y’all take some parenting classes and/or at least read some books about child rearing theory .

Yeah but nah. I personally think it's a stupid idea. I definitely think some people shouldn't procreate but the government should have no saying in that. It's similar to the soda ban they tried implementing in NYC a few years ago. Maybe not too similar, but we don't need the government interfering even more with our lives.
I can definitely see them denying black and Hispanic people a lot more than whites. And they may have more money and influence. They have privilege. They may be more stable in a sense to financially support a family but them fukkers are nuts. If white people want to have kids they should have to take mandatory classes on their own history and the damage they have done and continue doing. And they should be put on lie detectors to see if they feel guilt or remorse and if they do they would happily agree to a reparation tax. All the money goes to improve inner cities. Then they could have kids. And when those kids are 5 they need to take the same class. But I agree some mentally unstable people especially those living institutionalized shouldn't be having kids if they can't care for them. I think we need to educate on what it's really like to be a parent. Maybe provide some type of supervised parent-for-a-week program. Where they have a baby 24 hours a day for a week. Im sure there's plenty of babies being put up for adoption. And they might fall in love with one of those babies and just adopt that one. That helps another issue we have. So I disagree that it should be mandatory for everybody to go through an assessment but I believe assessments should be mandatorally available if people want them
