Can't say I've ever cared about M&M ads except the one where they saw Santa Claus. That one was funny. As long as the candy is the same, advertise how you want.

None of this changes or stops the chocolate, peanuts, etc that are packed inside its candy-coated shell from being enjoyable.

)I think this is a step in the right direction. It's one of the reasons I was always put off by M&Ms (besides the fact that they're loaded with sugar). I always wondered what the effects would be, on young women, after seeing the green M&M being paraded around in such a lascivious manner. If it were a situation that allowed for her to express her sexuality in a way that she saw fit then that would be a different story, but to impose such a sexual persona onto her sent a questionable message about what it is to be female. The new design does look much more relaxed and at peace with itself. This is a good thing!
