I've got the Andis Masters for all-purpose cutting, Wahl Seniors for fading, tapering and blending and the Wahl Detailer plus a straight razor for lining. Super Shaver for balding a skin fade. Magnetic guards for the Andis and stock for the Wahl.

Worth the initial investment and will last you a long time.

Anything made by wahl, andis, or oster really. Make sure to oil them after every four or five uses.

Wahl got a set that's $20 on amazon that I liked better than my current $100 fast feeds. That model lasted me a gang of years too. Last time I checked the corona had them sold out though. They're called the wahl color pros. Like the poster above mentioned, avoid wireless models.
