There's definitely a ton of garbage sources on there. You enjoy your free trash quality service that's cool, but don't pretend the experience is anything even remotely close to what you get with Netflix, Hulu, or HBO go.
nikkas know that HD sports is what the problem is with all those 'sources'

I had one of the best sources there was for NBA with Ballstreams for years, and even that was a paid service.

Better then basic cable because you legit get the most important channels. Plus if you a sports fan you get a gang of channels like big ten, Sec, every ESPN/Fox Sports. But the major selling point is no locked in contract, no rental fees or stupid city/county/state taxes. Lots more on demand shows.(Lots of good movies and shows like Atlanta)Unlimited free cloud storage to save shows up to thirty days. I mean nothing beats the free like Kodi but that shyt is annoying to be constantly updating, adding-on, and dealing with the bloat. Plus like I said earlier, not a fan of 480i sports viewing. I'm an advocate for this like my Madame Trillary Hot Rodham Winton
The flexibility is a great deal for me. I'll just pause the subscription whenever i go on vacation, or have a busy period at work. Most likely Ill pause it after the super bowl and until spring training cause I don't watch basketball

Hopefully they get MLB Network added. That's the only channel I'm missing

I got my tv remote working to control Vue as well, I didn't even know you could do that

Cable is more expensive than 40 a month
It is not. You ever look at prices for just the internet by itself with no cable? If you talking enough bandwidth for at least 2 rooms to stream at once, you aint getting that off no lil bullshyt hotspot or something. So are you not paying for internet? My bill was a little over $100/month (like $105 and some change with 2 hd boxes and 2 adapter boxes) for 50/50 internet and 3 channel packages with verizon (the 3rd channel package is $10). Yall math is real iffy...are you not still paying for internet? If so you're still at $100 a month. You'll be looking at $40-50/month (not $100) if you have just internet and Kodi, though.

I'm just waiting for Vue to get El Rey and I'll be in the game. All I'll have in my living room set up would be the Roku (probably going to cop that Premier+ and hoping that Roku app is updated) and my XBox One. Got the HDHomerun in the office + Emby got me eating good. :blessed:

I might go cable route if this app fukks up a lot. Just downloaded it and it's not even letting me run the app on the ps4.

I'm on my Account for Comcast right now looking at the pricing for internet/TV packages...

And these are just the prices for the service... NOT including the rental fees for the equipment. So if I want HD content in the 3 places that I watch stuff in, I'm looking at these prices I posted above, PLUS 21 to 30 extra. On top of THAT, some of these prices are only promotional prices. So after those 12 months goes up, you either have switch up your service, go to a different company, or just pay even more expensive costs for the shyt.

SO yes, you're right, having good net and Vue can be pricey, but it's still going to be cheaper in the long run than just getting on some bullshyt promo deal with your ISP, and paying for fees just to view HD content on your TVs

I heard it works well, so you might just be having a problem for now, but my thing is just if you're already paying for the internet, why pay $40 for a channel service that has less channels when cable will give you more for around the same price? I don't like paying for cable in any kinda way, but Vue just don't make sense to me

You just showed all basic prices, no type of promos (those aint promos), and I said I have Verizon. And what state are you in? That plays a part. Double Play should be no more than $89 a month with a promo. At least 2 boxes are going to come with it, but you will pay for the router and tax. Now show me internet by itself...bet you looking at $60/month...add Vue and you just saved a whole $10. Even with Double Play at $99/month, what are you really saving if it's more than just YOU in your house? $20 max and still gotta find a way to watch TV in the other room, with less channels???

EDIT: What's that at the bottom???? Is that internet by itself for $66???

I'm in the Chicagoland area. They let me toggle the price with contract agreement on some and then without it. Internet is also expensive... it's 66 dollars just for 25mbps down.

WOW $66 for just 25 down!?! Breh, do you see my point now? $66 + router + tax and you at $80...add Vue...do the math my nikka. Didn't save nothing over the cable package. Actually would be paying more for the Vue set-up than if you went with a Double Play Starter, in your area at least, from what you showed me

I already have the devices hooked up to my TV/Phone that will let anyone in my house view the Vue content. I have 3 Rokus, 3 Chromecasts, a PS4 and 2 PS3s... It won't be an issue playing Vue in any room in my house. Where as with Comcast, I'd have to pick which rooms wouldn't have a box in it.

I don't rent any equipment breh
:heh:

I have my own router and modem. And that's one of the reasons I'm not trying to get cable... I don't want to be forced into renting boxes just to watch shyt I'm paying for in HD. I don't want to deal with bullshyt promotional prices that change every 6 to 12 months.

So you still aint gonna acknowledge that I'm right? Ok, dont rent a router...you still at $75/month. You''re straight up making excuses and overlookin the numbers I put right in front of you and that you supported yourself. If you get a promo you get a 2 year promo then either use ya mouthpiece to get another promo, or you go to a competing company that will give you a promo. Let me guess "I aint doing all that shyt" (once every 2 years)...but you'll deal with streams from Vue not working sometimes or occasional buffering, right?

You're ignoring the fact that you have to pay additional fees for DVRs/HD boxes.

I already said it's pricey/comparable. And yes, I'd rather pay a set price then have to 'get another promotion' or switch providers every 2 years.

Do you not get 2 HD boxes for free, even with Comcast? DVR, yes. But why DVR when you have Kodi too, remember?
