Barbell and plates is always better. Take it slow and learn proper form before moving up in weight.
What a dikkhead.

Dumbbells for even weight distribution and engaging stabilizer muscles, barbells for progressive load and maxing (mainly because the weights are already lifted on the bench as opposed to having to pick up dumbbells from the rack/ground).

If I were you I'd start with dumbbells and learn proper form, and then maybe tie in barbell when you're comfortable. There is no wrong answer, except definitively saying one is somehow always better than the other in any situation.

How can you learn proper form on a barbell lift (back squats for example) with DBs?

Obviously for that exercise you wouldn't be able to. You're being obtuse just to argue.

muthafukka thought he cooked asking me How can you learn proper form on a BARBELL BACK SQUAT with DUMBBELLS.

Nope just asked a question for clarification. OP may not understand it being new to lifting.
