Elobarate. I the only reason I support this is because this law would promote equality (or I should say the closest to it) even if that equality comes at the price of morality. Since we allow women to kill children that could have been great people and deprive millions of kids the opportunity of life why not allow men to abondon their seed. Since equally is clearly more important than morality.

When a woman "choses" she's only making a decision for her own body, the fetus is not a viable human. Once that fetus becomes a viable human than it has a right to life and that trumps the woman's right to her own body.

Again the woman is not choosing whether or not life happens. She's choosing what to do with her own body. The only choice pertaining to whether or not a life happens is before conception.

No dear it's your reasoning that is flawed. The woman has more control because we enacted laws assuring her that we will coerce the male into contributing one way or another. My issue is not with the female's right to choose whether to continue or terminate pregnancy. But rather that this artificial construct we created where it's legal to track down and prosecute one dunce, while the other one (who for some reason we mostly equate to a poor victim) has available a few avenues, one of them being to completely stepping away from the situation. Like I said if we do not trust their judgment to the point we must intervene, both of their desires become null and void.

For most of our history these laws did not exist and somehow we fared better. Women are coddled, they get to walk away from their irresponsibility even if the male wishes to keep the child (do not disagree with this). And they get to force the man to attach himself to an unwanted child even if all precautions were taken (this is the over-extended hand of the state). All it takes to reverse this is enough men to say enough and then you'll understand that these rights, what I can and cannot, are all based on those very simple dictums that nature set long ago: the law is whatever men set. Then you may not like, yet if it's ok to arbitrarily give the shaft to one in favor of the other, so be it.
