I read this entire post and you seem to be the most level headed human here.first of all i dont believe that the majority of dudes who would actually sign away their parental rights are just gonna be FOTY all of a sudden and support their child simply out of the goodness of their heart.
but here you go..
sure right. supposedly give checks and think the woman has to do anything for you in regards to that other than just cash your check.
you have NO rights. you cant even complain when the woman takes your check and does anything she wants with it.
she could do her hair and nails, she could spend it on her new man
matter of fact her new man is free to legally adopt your child.
change "your baby's" name to his
on top of that
she doesnt ever have to allow or encourage any type of relationship for you with your child.
you know why? legally youre not the childs parent.
god forbid the mother is abusive or jailed or drug dependent.
you cant get custody and you wont even be considered for custody
because legally you are not that childs parent.
and no a judge is not gonna give a single fukk that your biologically related to this child you completely signed away all of your legal rights to.
try to establish a great relationship with an adult child at 18 with all your stories that sure you love them, you just completely signed away and legal right to them at all because you didnt want to have to pay via court order.
if this aint the most have your cake and eat it too bullshyt i have ever heard in my life.
wanna sign away rights but then get to do all the fun daddy shyt and whatever else you want including pay whatever you want when you want.
I also see a bunch of future dead beat dads, (I'm certain some already are.) women haters, some great debaters, fukk boys and just plain stupid people.

I didn't say anything about being FOTY.
You make some good points regarding the bolded, all I'm saying is that something has to be done to combat the notion that a fathers role in a child's life should revolve strictly around finances. It's not about having your cake and eating it too, women want the freedom to choose whether to have children that two people helped create, then those same women shouldn't be so quick to deny men some choice as well. A law like this will help to stem out of wedlock pregnancies and illegitimate children. It's sad that it has to come to this, but that's the reality.
i have posted on here numerous times that some adjustments need to be made in the family court system. im a custodial parent and a non custodial stepparent and a shared custodial grandparent.
i have much more experience with the family court and its flaws than most here.
this idea is no more than wishful thinking on some folks part and is not the fix all or the "well we gotta get back at women. aha! take that bytch!" that some of yall think it is.
this is only an acceptable imaginary answer for folks who want to continue to fukk any and everybody and do so raw.
this isnt about fathers rights or the problems within the family court system
notice with all the cheering in this thread there havent been any men talking about losing access to their children

i am extremely supportive of noncustodial fathers rights, since my own husband is one.
be selective in who you fukk. be responsible for your own personal birth control-not just trust your partner.

Not sure how I feel about this, but I don't see myself in this situation anyway.
I will say that many women will get a reality check with this. No more having a baby in hopes of keeping a man. No more trying to trap a baller. Groupies are going to be MAD.
