North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
You can't keep rewarding a franchise that doesn't even try to win. The makes moves and transactions with a built in pathway to the next draft lottery and an excuse for losing. :scusthov:

The NBA needs to look into this. I ripped Minnesota for constantly fukking up but at least they're trying to win. The Bucks are trying to win. Philly is just trying to build a team of all lottery players. Even if Embid comes back I don't see him and Okafor and Noel all on the floor at the same time. I don't know how the GM talked the owner into buying into whatever his plan is but this needs to stop.

I mean statisyicallybsomebody has to stuck
If u gotta penalize them u gotta pwnalize the nets who legit tried to make trades to get better and it was a worst case scenario

The players dont go out there to lose anyway...

The Nets penalized themselves. They won't have a lottery pick for the next 3 years. And they still won't suck like the 76ers. I mean look what they're doing to Okafor :snoop:

I mean I see where you coming from on this but maybe their GM is just 'confident in their young players' or some bs. Nothing the league can do(fairly) unless it's outright said that losing is the motto.

and they haven't even been the the worst team during this stretch. Hell there have been worse teams during a much longer period of time than Philly. There has to be a point where they say "fukk it, let's go with what we have" and I thought getting Okafor would do that (otherwise who were they losing for?), but they try hard on D and now it's a matter of being green + waiting for Saric + more picks.

Next year you can absolutely rip them if they seem like they're not trying.

Explain this "reward." There's no reward for losing. NONE. It's never ever worth it.

The irony is that if your goal is to win an NBA title, winning the lottery is the last thing you wanna do, because here's the list of lottery players drafted #1 who won a title with the team who drafted them:

David Robinson
Tim Duncan.

That's the list and they had to do it together.

You gotta stop with the fake outrage though. If this wasn't Philly, you wouldn't care.
