They should look at what the Wolves are doing with their young players and mirror it, way too much youth and dysfunction on that team, and no real goal in mind except tank hard and take the best player available. :what:

Even with a good core of young players that still doesn't quite lead to a championship contender. If you keep acquiring young assets it might look good on paper but you end up with a squad like the Magic who can't win games with any sort of consistency

Disagree with there being no goals in mind. They have a defense-focused groundwork put in by St. Coach Brown, they got Nerlens initiated last season. He will give 110% on both sides of the floor because that's who he is as a person.

This season; you will notice them resting Nerlens more because it's about handing the reins over to Jahlil. At this point, he is the future of our franchise, and it works out perfect because he needed to focus more on defense. So he can put up his 20pts a night and still lose, with a great incentive to play defense (to win games in his rookie season) but it's really all gravy.

Either next year or the following, they grab another couple top lottery picks, add one veteran scorer and a handful of veteran role players. Boom, we win the East, just as LeBron is beginning to physically deteriorate at the grand old age of 34.

That's the goal, meanwhile develop as many high upside young guys along the way either to flip or convert into role players, but mostly the first one.

It may backfire. Other teams will either get stronger or better. It's a gamble because eventually the fans are going to get tired of losing and the GM will get fired which will bring about more changes.

This is the 3rd season; there will be 0-1 more seasons of tank. The fans are pretty unhappy but fortunately for the Sixers, all the teams in the city suck right now.

The whole basketball world is curious to see if it works. Another Embiid and it will most likely fail; but we'll see. There's no way they let Hinkie tank another 2 seasons after this one, but even if he did it'd be a 5 year plan. A lot of teams have been bad for a lot longer unintentionally, there's really no downside to trying the plan.

They will most likely pick up two superstars in free agency next summer and a few role players; or whenever they're ready to put the foot on the gas.

Give teams that aren't complete shyt a shot at top talent. Give top talent a shot at teams that are actually competent. Make it an actual lottery, and teams will be forced to adapt. Can't knock the Sixer's hustle for playing the system as it is :yeshrug:.

Crazy to think of where this team would be if Turner and the Bynum trade would've panned out. Still, all they need is to hit on another lotto pick and get 2 good vets and they'll be a playoff team.

I don't understand the fake concern for teams you aren't invested in at all

Most teams are in the middle. The middle teams (teams actually trying to be competitive) get shafted by this current setup. So fans of those teams as well as teams that have sucked and continue to suck are invested and have every reason to be concerned.

not a fan of this upcoming draft AT ALL. a lot of projects and upperclassmen with average ceilings. I do think there will be some decent/good staters in this draft forsure.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
I mean statisyicallybsomebody has to stuck
If u gotta penalize them u gotta pwnalize the nets who legit tried to make trades to get better and it was a worst case scenario

The players dont go out there to lose anyway...
I'm still:deadmanny: How Brooklyn mortaged their future for a bunch of CTC (cut that check) All Stars and over the hill vets and didn't make the ECF once.

The sixers or any other team that is being bad should only mean one thing to fans

Free wins on the schedule.
Just take the wins and add em to the total b.

If you're a team in the middle just accept that you ain't winning shyt and keep it moving. Or pick a new team that's winning already
