In other words we need more black suburbs?

Ya'll talking from the North and shyt I'm from the south, to me, when I say suburb I just mean nice ass area. :skip: With low crime/poverty and a high quality of living. Not literally "outside of the city vs inside of the city shyt".
Where I’m from theres areas of the city that are better than some burbs. But we built these cities and been occupying them forever. Why leave them so white folks can come in and benefit off what we built. There’s already been enough of that

All races do this. The only difference is blacks are the only ones who use it to suggest you are less representative of the race. It's another white supremacy trickology move that we fell for: Only "real blacks" are urbanized in mostly segregated impoverished areas. The ones who became pioneers forcing integration into white suburban school districts could never identify with being black in America :snoop:

shyt happens in life. I wonder why some of y'all so paranoid about potentially losing your (perceived) ability to look down on nikkas..but I understand. It's inherited from cacs.

It's empty ass power man..when pops moved us to the suburbs I heard "black folk" come outta his mouth way more often in that condescending tone. Ironic cause he ran out on his first son and was gonna do it to me.
I told my sister (suspected :mjpls:) that I was thinkin about moving to Atlanta once I got my shyt together. She said "Atlanta is nikkaish" with a hard R. She lives in Spain with her cac husband. shyt clicked immediately.

I told her she sounded :mjpls:and she gave me that laugh that people do when they're wild embarrassed :snoop:

Just becuz you invest in a community doesn’t make it a suburb unless it on the outskirts of the city. That’s the problem a lotta people have is that suburb automatically = better. The majority of us live in the inner city. Most resources are in the inner city which is why many are being gentrified as we speak. A lot of us live on prime real estate and don’t even know it. And guess what? If black people who are able to invest did then there’s less run down buildings. I know people personally who are actively doing this in my city right now

Ok, that's great. I'm just saying different people have different tastes in living environment. I didn't mean to associate inner city with rundown, but I prefer a single family home, with a decent amount of space between the neighbor's home, large backyard, and a downtown area with all the businesses, not living right next to the barbershop, or the restaurant, or the the auto mechanic. I want my quiet domestic life, not filled with customers and folks talking and shyt outiside my door. I like getting into the car, and driving to the supermarket, not walking, and carrying bags ten blocks. I want more suburban areas which are predominantly black, so any kids I have can be around their own people, support black businesses, and we can vote to get our own people in local office.

So I am 100% on board with black people not running to white neighborhoods when we get money, but it's not always about living around the white folks, it's about a certain living structure. I'm not into the city life.

I lived in both, I don't really rock with suburban Breh like that.
Spent most of my time in the inner city...and my people are nowhere near poor.
The hood has it's own problems. Those problems are used as a scapegoat by suburban Breh AND cacs.
A lot of suburbreh have shoulder chips and strange issues with women. "All they date is thugs/I'm the best guy on paper/You nikkas jealous of our parents and these women are lost! The hoes out there used to be fun, then I got into a relationship with 1st Gen suburbrehette, who ironically said and did more :mjpls: shyt than this white woman I'm with now.
Black people from black suburbs don't count, btw. Nor do gentrification refugees.
Caccent brehettes who write articles bytching about being called white, not knowing it's INFLECTION/TONE and not slang usage/articulation that alarms most black-identified black people when it comes to suburban black speech. Too many black "dudebro" and tokens on campus back in the day as well. They can do them, just don't chime in on certain issues.
Go back and read through police killing posts. It be the suburbreh saying the most :mjpls: shyt.
Then y'all turn around and say "I'm not going to be ashamed of my parents working hard" nikka nobody said you should be but that's not your hard work for one, for two, we talking about those c00n/bootstrap talking points y'all getting from your neighbors and c00n parents.
I'm tired of nasal accent valley girl speech "sistas" leading that anti Blackman wave as well. The vsb types seem suburban to me. Doing way too much in the guise of activism.
It's all a bad look.
"I'm lame but I got my 6certs"
So if I have money you not special? Yeah.
There's a poster on here who talks about "broke nikkas" every chance he can get...and is super scared of being broke.

:dwillhuh: As a surburbreh (in the south) in a white neighborhood I'd say most of this is legitimately made up from hood brehs fear of being looked down on by people with more money/more fortunate situation.. I don't really know the type of dude that you mention but I know they exist because I've ran into them on the police force

What I know is...

Hood brehs stay comparing us to white people because we grew up safer /more privileged or whatever. c00n =/= suburban

Problem with that is we're still not white...
but really the problem is guys worring about what other people do that have nothing to do with them:gucci:

and that they have to separate themselves from any group of people who have a different perspective than they do, even their own race:dwillhuh:

But just because people have a different perspective doesn't mean they can't have something to offer. We still came from the same slaveships nikka.

Who doesn't :dwillhuh:

The fact that is important enough to you is :dwillhuh: simple things like are responsible for cutting people off who otherwise have a lot to offer

I actually like the black valley girl accent btw. It's cute to me :manny:

:mjlol:
HARSH GAME OUT HERE FOLKS...move to another type of neighborhood and the hard Rs come out.
I've actually heard old hood black folks act like this too but they're the ones that left the deep country south for the city a long time ago.

They're doing a lot of damage with those articles and within academia.
I'd be willing to wager most of the folks writing the anti blackman articles are from suburban areas.
Why are they given a platform when there are more important issues?
These are million dollar entities that could be doing editorials on productive subjects...instead, Miss Outerbelt Tiffany and her brother Jamel can denigrate the black bogeyman and still look pro black. It's *snaps fingers, what's that new word they like to use*...."Problematic".
:mjpls:
I'm wondering why this particular type of black person is occupying that space the most...hmmm.
they're also the more cartoony rap artists when it comes to being an exaggerated "hood person".
