I never argued that Love was a better defensive player than Thompson.

You said the Cavs were worse defensively with Love on the floor all season long. And I disputed that.

Their opponents had an offensive rating of 105.3 with him on the floor this season, had an offensive rating of 108.3 with Love on the bench. It's also worth noting that Love played roughly 43% of his minutes alongside Tristan Thompson, which was more than with any other big for the Cavs.

Love was a starter correct? Most of his minutes came as a starter playing with other starters correct? The starters are better defensively than the bench players correct? That could explain your stat correct?

What is your point here? If you understand that Love isn't the best defensive player at his position on the team then why dispute that the team is better defensively without him on the floor? Obviously you need to put that stat in context because the Cavs are clearly a better defensive team without Love on floor vs with him on the floor.

You said the team did better defensively with Love on the bench as opposed to when he was on the court all season long. They did not. Could you attribute that to the fact that he played with the starters for the majority of his minutes? Possibly. But that never stopped the teams of guys like David Lee & Carlos Boozer from consistently performing better defensively with them off the floor despite the fact that they were starters.

Your stat doesn't disprove what I said. Try harder.

Try harder at what?

I don't have an agenda to push. You said they performed better defensively with Love on the bench all season long and I posted statistics that dispute that claim. But whatever :manny:

Your stat doesn't dispute that claim for reasons already stated. What part of that don't you get? Stop dancing around and state your position here. Are you saying that the Cavs were better defensively with Love in at pf playing with the first team as opposed to TT?

Once again, I never argued Love was a better defensive player than Thompson. You said that the Cavs as a team performed better defensively all season long with Love on the bench as opposed to when he was on the floor and I posted evidence that says that the statement you made wasn't true. Now unless you're gonna post actual evidence that disputes that, I don't see why you feel the need to keep going back and forth with me over a separate argument that I never made.

Ahhh you're just some little petty bytch who's trolling. Ok cool. Let me clarify since the obvious didn't dawn on your stupid ass. When I said that the Cavs were better defensively without Love on the floor, I was highlighting the facts that Love is a subpar defender, TT is a much better defender, and the Cavs are a better defensive team with him in at pf vs Love. I wasn't disputing the fact that because Love plays with the first team the Cavs statistically have a better defensive rating with him on the floor than without him. Sorry that you're a stupid motherfukker who needed to be spoonfed which led to there being confusion.

So playing with starters means that you'll have a higher defensive rating? So tell me why the Cavs had a better defensive rating with Kyrie Irving off the floor? Surely since he played the vast majority of his minutes with the starters his on/off numbers on that end should've been positive right?
