Love was a starter correct? Most of his minutes came as a starter playing with other starters correct? The starters are better defensively than the bench players correct? That could explain your stat correct?I never argued that Love was a better defensive player than Thompson.
You said the Cavs were worse defensively with Love on the floor all season long. And I disputed that.
Their opponents had an offensive rating of 105.3 with him on the floor this season, had an offensive rating of 108.3 with Love on the bench. It's also worth noting that Love played roughly 43% of his minutes alongside Tristan Thompson, which was more than with any other big for the Cavs.

What is your point here? If you understand that Love isn't the best defensive player at his position on the team then why dispute that the team is better defensively without him on the floor? Obviously you need to put that stat in context because the Cavs are clearly a better defensive team without Love on floor vs with him on the floor.
