"Every executive I talk to, every agent I talk to, every quasi insider, every girlfriend's cousin's sister's boyfriend all says this guy is out of there," said Brian Windhorst during a podcast with Zach Lowe.

"I hear the same thing from everybody," said Lowe. "From everyone that is two or three or four steps removed. I don't quite believe all of that."

"I agree," replied Windhorst.

"Part of what's going on there is the Lakers' boogeyman," said Lowe.

"They don't just say he's out of there, they say 'He's going to the Lakers.' That has much to do with the fear people have of the Lakers as it does with Kevin Love."
:banderas:Only the Lakers, who have been complete garbage and :trash: the past two years, still have teams shook of the Lakers.

Should JR decline his player option and then make the CAVS overpay to keep him?

All the Lakeshow have to do is get Kawhi and Rondo and they are back in business

Don't let Love just walk but definitely try to trade him ASAP, especially if you can get some interior defense from someone else while still being able to stretch the floor on the offensive side, seriously what value did you see from Love this year...seriously :francis:

16.4 ppg, 9.7 rpg, and 2.2 apg as your team's third option is no value? :dwillhuh:

Yes he is. He sucks on defense and the Cavs have been better defensively all year without him in the floor. Save the excuses.

Actually the Cavs were statistically better on defense with Love on the floor during the regular season

So what are you arguing with me for? Kevin Love is a poor defensive player. He was known as a sub par defender in Minnesota before he got to Cleveland so I'm not sure why some of you are acting surprised to hear me say this. Before Mosgov got there(to cover Love's ass), the whole team was mediocre defensively because they had no one who could control the paint.
So now you're acting surprised when someone caught you lying because you wanted to push your agenda, like I said -
You have no idea what you're talking about. :manny:

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Whats crazy is if Wiggins signed with LeBron's agency I'm not sure he's traded at all.

I understood the Love move at the time. However, if he walks they gotta bring in somebody of similar talent. This series against the Hawks isnt enough proof that they need to drop an all star caliber player.

@Malta What moves can they make if Love walks?

They can't make any moves if he walks this summer, when the cap jumps they'd have a little more room to play with, but realistically there aren't many players that fit what the Cavs need from their 4. He really is the perfect pairing with LeBron, because he spaces the floor and rebounds, imagine how out of control these games would be if they had his offensive punch + rebounding to go along with Mozgov/Thompsons domination on the glass. Everyone keeps saying they should trade him for LaMarcus, but he's a better fit for them than Aldridge because of the volume of threes he takes, Aldridge would need to learn how to play with LeBron.

If it comes out that he's going to leave then obviously they need to explore all their options, but there's not a lot they can do if he jets.

Yea, because saying that Kevin Love is a sub par defender and the Cavs are better defensively without him than with him is an agenda. It's convenient that you ignored this post from dude.
Thompson IS a better defender than Love.
First of all, he didn't post proof that the Cavs were statistically better defensively with Love on the floor. 2nd that's a vague statement with absolutely no context. That stat doesn't even make sense because obviously the Cavs are not better defensively when he's on the floor. You don't need a stat to make that for you if you have two eyes. Anybody with common sense can see that Love isn't a better defender than TT and that the Cavs are better defensively with TT on the floor than Love. Keep pushing your agenda tho.

I never argued that Love was a better defensive player than Thompson.

You said the Cavs were worse defensively with Love on the floor all season long. And I disputed that.

Their opponents had an offensive rating of 105.3 with him on the floor this season, had an offensive rating of 108.3 with Love on the bench. It's also worth noting that Love played roughly 43% of his minutes alongside Tristan Thompson, which was more than with any other big for the Cavs.
