I don't feel bad for him in the least bit, he thought he could come into the NBA and just rise to the top because of his business acumen. He went over the heads of his front office and picked a player they didn't want and he had zero understanding of the game :yeshrug:

Malcolm Gladwell kinda schooled me a few weeks back on Simmons podcast.

Put yourself in his shoes. Before you really had a handle on the league.

We all think we could do better than him in his shoes in his circumstance.

He didn't know shyt about the modern day NBA. Bought a team that was trying to move. And inherited a head case. He never trusted the people he hired.

He's a legit rookie in this game.

There isn't much of a learning curve for a new owner especially those with no experience.

He's made awful decisions. God awful. And in the end he will pay for them. I actually hope he doesn't sell and learns from his mistakes.

I don't think he moves Boogie out of fear of what it makes him look like to the public.

You and I can't put ourselves in his position because we know the NBA though, it's one thing for a dude like Mark Cuban to overrule his front office, it's another when some dude who never really fukked with the game does it.

There's no learning curve, but he should have trusted the guys who oversee the team, they wanted a PF, he wanted an SG. Damn near everyone who follows the NBA knew they needed a defensive big, lo and behold they take one a year later.

And most importantly....he's a billionaire, I don't feel sympathy for them :Hannibron:

I'm not trading Smart or Hunter

I'm trading any of lee, zeller, Bradley, young

:deadmanny:

KevJ is the guy who calls into sportsradio and proposes lopsided trades for his team

None of those players are moving the needle and neither are all the mid and late first round picks you want to trade

As weird as it sounds him selling the team will set the franchise back even further.

He's a smart dude. He's getting that work from all angles right now.

I'm rooting for him to figure it out. I lost my bias.

I do agree with you that it's best to trade Boogie even if that means an immediate fan protest.

I see it through the eyes of someone that watches the league, if I had the money I know exactly what I'd do and how to build my team :blessed: So that's part of why I don't really feel too badly for him, as much as he's fukking up he gets to do some shyt I need NBA 2k to help me emulate :francis:

There'd only be protest if they got @KevJ's offer of Lee, Zeller, Bradley and 2 conditional 2nd round picks, my dude won't even give up Smart or RJ Hunter for DeMarcus :russ:

Isn't the Kings owner that moron who wanted Malone to implement a 4-on-5 system? :russ:Dude is basura as an owner. Got rid of the one coach, Cousins was content of playing for. Has made horrible draft selections including drafting that tall ass garbage indian dude just because he was from his country lol.

I bet he had high hopes for him to become a franchise player lol.....Thats how bad he is. Cousins haven't always been the easiest player to deal with him, but the franchise has done nothing but set him up for failure.
Can we please replace this sorry franchise and bring back Seattle Sonics team? :damn:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
None of them have the assets to make the trade, but I'd love to see Cousins in Atlanta, Indy or Portland.

I really wouldn't be shocked to see the Lakers offer a haul for Cousins. Hopefully Clarkson wouldn't be involved, but it'll be either him or Russell with Randle and maybe the rest of their 2015 draft (Nance and Brown :snoop:) plus other future picks. :snoop:

What picks? They have none to trade.

The Original Rec Room Gang
I hope they do.
I do too :shaq:
Probably not, but I'd still see if they'd be interested.

There aren't a lot of teams in the East that can offer anything for him, the Bucks, Celtics, Magic and maybe Bulls seem to be about it.
Uh, DeMark has made it known he wanted to play with John Wall his college buddy. WE tried to get him before we landed Gortat
Gortat's deal is mad affordable, and Nene's deal expires this year. Hopefully they'll take Nene, a 1st rd. pick, and.. Kelly Oubre?
Yes

Otto and Gortat should make it work.
We are not letting Otto go bruh :stopitslime:
Right now Otto appears to be on track to being our best player. Less streaky than Bradley B :manny:
Otto gonna score 50 in a game this season, watch...

It's looking like yet another coach is about to get the boot, at this point it's becoming apparent that Cousins is not really the type of player you should build around if your organization isn't strong from top to bottom.

I think they need to move him, they could lose their pick this year to the Sixers or Bulls and they're pretty much a lock for missing the playoffs yet again but this time with nothing to show for it. I'd hit up the Magic and see if they'd be willing to do Vucci and 2018 Lakers pick, Hezonja or Gordon for him, or the Celtics for two Nets first rounders, Sullinger, Crowder and Bradley.
