None of the other picks are all that valuable on the surface, the Memphis one may be but it's years away and I highly doubt the Kings will want to wait that long, the Mavs pick will be late lottery

We don't have any valuable prospects. Marcus Smart is a great defensive player but he isn't someone you build around, RJ Hunter is just a 3 point specialist, still trying to figure out what Rozier is good at, the only thing James Young has going for him is that he's young, I think Mickey will be good but he has nowhere near any value to be shipped for an All-NBA player, Sullinger is undersized and obese at the same time and is on an expiring deal, Olynyk is a soft fakkit, Crowder/Bradley are role players, the Kings have already had Isaiah and let him go before

Mirotic and two picks in the 20s doesn't trump bostons offer

Gasol or Noah rentals won't matter to a rebuilding team

If it's a three way deal then gasol or Noah go somewhere else and a pick or extra go to the Kings

So basically it'd be mirotic, filled and 3 or 4 low end first rounders

There needs to be a new characterization for players like him and Kyrie Irving.

Potential 1st Team All NBA talents...........but you can't build a team around them now matter what you give them.

Not saying the Kings management has made good decisions during Cousins tenure, but only 5 players from your team get on the court at any one time. At some point your individual talent needs to flat out CARRY bums if you are a legitimate franchise player.

I think they need to trade him, but only for multiple first rounders, or a Carmelo sized haul. If not, they're bad enough to keep losing with him, and they can wait til draft time to move him.

The Celtics are probably the thirstiest for a star, so I'd bet on them.

And Orlando isn't making a move like that for another season at least. They're going to find out what they have first.

Sullinger is not expiring he would be restricted and they would have his rights

Hunter is way more than a specialist... hes a very well rounded player that can do a little bit of everything with terrific instincts...

Same thing with smart, his offense game clearly needs work, but regardless of all that, he makes an impact on the games without scoring 20 ppg

Orlando has worked way too hard to build that team and culture from the ground up to trade for cousins

They aren't making any kind of big move until the offseason at the earliest

Philly won't want him, they are still in tank mode anyways

And the lakers are in such a bad spot that trading all their assets for cousins does nothing for them in the long term... Back in the day they'd probably do it because they were considered a lock to get top free agents, but times have changed and their front office is full of idiots who can't get it done

I never said Smart had no impact on a game. But he's not a franchise player and more than likely will never be one.
