Tonight, it felt like my childhood died. As a Met fan I still must tip my cap one of the legendary figures of my lifetime. This dude exuded class. He even treated his hoes and jumpoffs with class. He even treated bratty little kids like myself at a younger age, running up on him at the airport trying to get his autograph as he's trying to board a flight with class.

Yes that last part is true, I did run up on him at Tampa International Airport at the suggestion of my pops and stepbrother and he did give me his autograph.

& Re2pect to one of the all time greats.
