Besides we won a title with Pettit, have had four superstars in Lou Hudson, Nique, Pettit, and Pistol Pete Maravich.

Nique was coming off an injury and you can see the regression in his game but nonetheless, dumb trade.

The Hawks attendance was great during the Nique years, outside of that most of the fans in Atlanta haven't had much to cheer about. Look at Detroit, best attendance in the NBA then they fell off and now they have the worst attendance. It's all about creating an identity which we failed to do and we played extremely boring Basketball for over 20 years. You can't get mad at people not supporting that.

You clearly got a tooth to grind with us but it's cool. We will be your favorite team aside from Detroit next year so I will just forgive you in advance.

Whatever man. At one time you could have said the Falcons was a trash franchise. At one time the Braves was a trash franchise. At one time the Steelers was a trash franchise. One you get the management, everything falls into place. Our drafts in the NBA have been some of worst of all time. Haters gonna hate man and you showing signs of a major one.

Pettit played for the Hawks org like Mikan was a Laker. Pistol Pete was a star in Atlanta, to say otherwise proves you don't know a thing about Basketball.

To talk about our lack of success as a franchise is due to horrendous management which sucked or was average at best till we hired Danny Ferry. For crying out loud, BK drafted Shellhead over Brandon Roy.

The Atlanta Hawks have never had a #1 overall pick but once and he signed with the ABA for more money. Orlando had the #1 pick three times which was Shaq, Dwight, and traded Chris Webber for Penny Hardaway. Come on son. It's not hard to be great when you keep getting great draft picks. Look at our history, see how many times we have been in the lottery. Most of the time we are usually over .500 except for the crap years in the early and mid 2000's.
