Siakim is not ugly. So he passes the face test. With that said, I don't think he's a superstar. I think this weak era is making him look better than he really is. But he definitely has the look for an all-star caliber player.

Siakam isn't a superstar very few players have played at superstar level in the east this year. I'd argue only Giannis is on that level right now the rest are either putting up empty stats or their games are lacking big time in one area. Siakam hasn't been very good ever since he came back from injury. He's still a hustle player with an improved shot. His best post move is the spin dribble. Needs to continue working on handles, shooting and post moves.
As for Tatum his game is more astheticaly pleasing but I honestly believe he doesn't have a bigger impact than Brown. If Jaylen had more consistency he might have been an all-star starter this year.

Siakam was averaging 25 ppg before the injury almost 50% field goal pct. and had tge raptors hovering around the 3rd or 4th spot when he went down the raptors struggled still had a winning pct. but struggled.
To say he is just a hustle player is inaccurate. He is not a generational talent like Giannis but he isnt a "hustle" guy plus he is developing an outside shot and can become an elite defender. The leap is scary for someone who has played basketball as late as he did in life. Being the bestvplayer in a title contending team does not equal a "hustle" guy

To compare Tatum to Melo doesnt reflect a knowledgeable fan, he has a long ways to go. Melo was an elite scorer and rebounder at his position for several consecutive years, somewhere around 10 years. He was a major problem for opposing coaches to gameplan for. He was a better rookie then Tatum, much better 2nd year, and led his team to the playoffs every year in a stacked western conference
