This has been addressed multiple times and they just say to ignore people.
As for the voting polls, that's going to be a disaster. The idea about forfeiting thread making privileges for people heavy in the red should be taken into consideration. Yes we know that people in the green make awful threads (see @Billy Costigan ) but at least the policy would make rep actually mean something.

The problem with the word "troll," and how its used around here is that anyone is labeled a troll for simply disagreeing with the majority. People call me a troll all the time because I'm not a homophobic, misogynistic a$$hole who hates on everything. I do agree there are some trolls here, but some of us just have differing opinions.
