*sigh* Naked Gun getting the reboot (Liam Neeson eyed for role, Family Guy creator producing) edit: it gets a pass

Watching it now. It definitely feels like the Naked Gun, but something about it didn’t really hit with me; maybe because it’s not an original piece and just using a formula that worked long ago. It has its moments of comedy and fukkery filled. The Snowman part had me :mjlol: tho.

It was alright. That type of slapstick humor doesn’t hit like it did back in the day though.
Interesting point. I think it can work as long as it’s not overdone like this movie. Today’s comedy needs time to build; this movie is just throwing shyt on the wall and hoping it lands. It may have worked back in the day, but times have changed.

I watched this yesterday. I didn't like it. There were a few moments where I chuckled or laughed but overall I didn't find the film to be funny.

Liam Neeson is terrible at doing an American accent. Most of the slapstick and gags didn't hit for me compared to the first 2 Naked Gun movies.

Liam roleplaying Leslie Nielsen in an episode of Family Guy without Stewie and Brian. It was better than I thought and I'm glad I came in with no expectations.
