*sigh* Naked Gun getting the reboot (Liam Neeson eyed for role, Family Guy creator producing) edit: it gets a pass

watched it in the background on paramount last week. movie is cool, and it's short, but it's not funny like that to me.

Ehhh. First 30 mins are so aren't too bad. Some decent gags and lines. But the middle and last act was pretty bad and unfunny. I think I chuckled several times over the last 60 mins. I never expected this movie to be a worthy reboot and I was right. 3/10

. . .. went in with no expectations . . . .. tried to force myself to sit through all the way but had to cut it off right before the end . . .. maybe im having a bad day but this type of humor feels targeted towards a different mindstate than my own . . .. this was on some dummied-out "Ow My Balls !" type entertainment . . ..

They should have at least consulted the Zucker brothers. It couldn't have hurt at all as this was ok but not something I would ever watch again. Hopefully they leave it alone now as the Naked Gun just isn't the Naked Gun with Leslie Nielsen being long gone.

. . .. knowing Seth MacFarlane i wouldnt be surprised if he does a "Hot Shots: Maverick" movie with Charlie Sheen . . .. and have a running-joke that nobody wants to touch him or let him breathe on them . .. .
