I don't say this very often, but that thread is the exact definition of "Bird Talk". I've read through two pages and have yet to see a poster mention any meaningful low-quality traits, too busy focusing on a nikka's pockets, and then wonder why they "Can't find a good man.".

No I don't think this is necessarily true. I make my assessments of men on a case by case basis. I don't make judgement calls off those factors alone. But men should know the basics about car maintenance ..the rest of the list mehhh. Not that serious enough to be dealbreakers.

There's men of decent character who may not fit every category . I have a decent income but ill still be up in the Dollar Store for deals, I use paper plates , lol..I don't need to be treated to a $500 dinner, we can hit up the $5 chicken and rice spots, pizza slice ..I don't mind paying half for a low key "date".. a nice vacation could be a road trip to a local scenic secluded park/lake ,nature watching, taking a walk, we wouldn't have to go to Hawaii or some faraway resort all the time, as long as he has an intellectual mindset , a good heart as in compassion, I'm not that hard to please . I like affection . Not materialistic bc I attained enough on my own. I don't even celebrate these whitewashed holidays like Valentine's day , Christmas, etc so presents aren't necessary during that time. But then Im not a relationship person / anti-marriage for myself ( gmb-ette ) so I'm not thinking long term, I look for qualities that I would like in a friend where we vibe and no pressure on each other, go with the flow .
