Ok so Im about up to the first tutorial fight

This is one of the scariest games sonically I've ever experienced, honestly the audio is so fukking good I don't recommend playing this shyt with headphones on loud, or even on at all, If you may have anxiety problems or something like that. The sfx and the music and ambiance is nerve bending bro.

Been playing for a bit the past couple days, the atmosphere is great and surpassed me expectations but I already turnt the music off, it just repeats every time a monster is close, just playing with the radio fills you with a bit of dread

I'm excited to get into another scary game that allows you to actually fight.
The trend of hide and seek games was obnoxious to me. I don't like games to be scary or difficult based on making the player defenseless or limiting the hell out of the players movement and ability to do damage.
The Evil Within did an amazing job being scary while still making the player a formidable force within the setting.
Later Resident Evil games started to become too easy from a combat / player damage perspective so they didn't feel nearly as scary as the OGs
