bro you obviously have something against her

Precious wasn't a known hit prior/during/after production, thus the lack of international obligations
No need to have leverage, it was a role, she got paid, and tried to keep it moving
They didn't want to do more beyond making promises...ok...I'm sure they won't make that mistake again in the future with any other talent

So what if it wasn't a hit prior to movie release? It's not the norm to renegotiate contracts after a movie releases. It's literally that simple.

Like I said, Monique didn't help matters with burning bridges and her attitude either. Directors and producers talk amongst each other and a positive reputation can help your cause. That's how it works.

Simone let her whole team down it wasn’t even an injury
Nah she wasn’t doing well I was watching it at work. Better for her to let someone “shoot the last shot” whose mind is in it than for her to score 12-13.3’s and her bring the team down.
She did the right thing and I hope she gets better

Lol… she was still in first place score wise after the first day even after her mess ups. Wtf are you talking about? She’s that much better than everyone else. You call it having a bad Olympics and it’s still better than everyone else in the field.

She was having a bad olympics. This looks like those sprinters who slow up with the “pulled ham” mid race when they’re getting walked and the loss is a foregone conclusion.

She was still the leader. This would be like someone pulling up with a hamstring because they were going to win but not with a World Record. :mjlol:

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Been raped is traumatic experience it's nothing something you can just move on from

why would anyone bring that up to a young woman while she's focused on competing

are you retarded, are you brain dead, or are you just an all around piece of shyt loser with nothing else better to do

than to question the competitive drive of a proven women who's won more than anyone else in her sport, because you have zero heart and don't know what it's like to compete let alone win at anything so you need an avenue for your bitterness.

This is the mental make up of people in America today smh
I'm none of the above. Just not so mentally weak that being asked about something in my life is going to make me quit my job. :yeshrug:

Until she says so herself, though, we don't know why she quit..

since it wasn't a known hit, then no need to ask establish talents for favors because both sides fulfilled their contract obligations. Anything extra is rightfully up to her and her team to decide

They didn't need to try to blackball her by making up lies. But they did and then failed

Americans are mentally weak

Ignoring the fact that the U.S. Women's Gymnastics Team saw their best gymnast -- the consensus best gymnast in the world and the best to ever do it -- drop out of competition one event into the Olympics yet still had the mental resolve to pull together and nearly win the gold medal ... it's quite possible that people in general are mentally weak.

The difference is that it's socially acceptable to show that weakness nowadays. Well, unless you're black or brown. :hubie:

Look at Sha'Carri Richardson. Girl said she smoked weed to mentally cope with the death of a family member.

Now, taking that statement at face value -- personally, I think she smokes recreationally or whatever but that's not why we're here -- and knowing the side effects of marijuana, that's a move she made to take care of her mental health. Just so happens that move is clearly a "don't do that" in the rules of her sport, thus in my view she deserved what she got. She got killed on social and all that.

People in here are talking about how Serena would get crushed in the media if she did what Osaka is doing. Likely. I think the reason for that is based in image.

Sha'Carri and Serena are portrayed as flamboyant, loud, emotional, passionate, ferocious, arrogant individuals. Osaka/Simone, to the best of my knowledge, have this "polite sweetheart" deal going for them, though the argument exists that Biles is leaning into the arrogance thing after rightly acknowledging her undisputed status as GOAT.

It's unfortunate that her mental issues got the best of her when they did, but when it comes to shyt like that, you have to look out for yourself because nobody else is required to once you're an adult.
