Call his rhyme scheme basic when it was more advanced than biggies up until about 97. Let's not even get into l's debut verse shytting on bigs
what happened in 97?

I was explaining why I think Big L was the most overrated rapper anyway

I'm a big L fan, no doubt. But L wasn't EVER going to be a star. A great rapper/wordsmith unquestionably. But his style wasn't going to put him into that upper echelon of rappers. It was too awkward.

Both are solid however if you was to place them in a battle I'll go big l. Mainly because he had ill delivery and solid punchlines.

id say both are on par with each other in terms of talent but id give the lyricism and over your head punches to L

although Biggie had more vulgar and memorable lines

but im a Biggie stan so :manny:

How is Big L better than Biggie? :russ:

That's like saying Cassidy is better than Jay-z.

Big L was a dope rapper...Biggie is an all-around, versatile giant who just happens to have 2 of the greatest rap albums ever.

Now if they battled face to face or sumn, then that's different, I'd like Big L's chances in that. But artistry wise this is disrespectful to Biggie.

Both Ready to Die and Life after death were better albums and impacted hip hop more than Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous.
I mean if industry success is the standard...then it's no contest....but purely based on skill...assuming you've heard every Big L unreleased song/freestyle...I don't see how anyone can really say Big
