Never acted like they 'survived a hurricane of a division' for all these years, I refuted false statements that the AFC east was/is ass, and I did it with facts. Facts that you've been trying to dance around this whole thread.

Plus, this thread ain't about the AFC east

Im not a one man profootballfocus but i did some quick analysis refuting the nfc west was/is ass in my last post. i never said the afc east was the worst..but you insinuated the only other division to be as tough was the NFC east.

The fact the patriots have reached 5 superbowls in the last 15 seasons is amazing and potential a 6th appearance this year.

Brady may play in more SB than romo will win playoff games when it's said and done. Imagine that!

And we're tied for the most rings during that time period.

If you want to count 1999 and 2001, the Rams made the SB twice, the Seahawks made the SB twice and the Cardinals and 9ers made it once each. The last time an AFC East team made the SB other than the Patriots was 1993. Lets not even talk about conference finals appearances. Outside of the Pats..The NFC West had as many as the AFC East since 2002..just last year alone.

AFC East as a whole has been more balanced and better than the NFC West until the last few years though without looking too in depth at it.

Okay champ.

Since 2002, the NFC West has had 3 different teams win conference championship games. 1 Super Bowl winning franchise. AFC East has 1 team and 1 Super Bowl winning franchise.

Playoff Records for NFC West since 2002:

9ers- 6-4
Rams- 1-2
Seahawks- 9-7
Cardinals- 4-2

Thats 35 playoff games for NFC West teams. 5 super bowl appearances.
Take out the team with the most playoff games (Seahawks) and thats still 7 more than the AFC East sans patriots


Take out the Seahawks and thats 2 more super bowl appearances than AFC East sans patriots, and last year 2 NFC West teams played each other in the Conference Championship.

Take out the Seahawks and the rest of the division is 11-8 in the playoffs compared to 6-6 for the AFC East.

By my count the NFC West has had 2 teams in the playoffs three different times, this year will be the fourth. That would be the same amount as the AFC East.

And the NFC West has been considered the worst. I cant wait to look at the other divisions

Obviously not, because, unlike the AFC East, we have had multiple teams be legit contenders the past decade. I just wanted the "facts" to look a bit better for your argument by subtracting the team with the most playoff appearances in the division. You can easily add them back to make them look worse if you want.

Also your facts of just tallying wild card games to make the AFC East look better
