Since moving back to the south, I realized how much folks down here talk.

Not even about anything frfr :dahell:

Mfs just feel like they need to talk or always have something to say. Like silence feels like death here.

In Washington it was the opposite and honestly looking back it makes more sense :yeshrug:

shyt crazy cause folks down here call me “introverted” but out there I was a extrovert :mjlol:

Not saying it’s good or bad just a cultural difference I don’t really like tbh

Nah, people need to be interacting with each other. Just in the work environment, we are all working in the same place, and most treat each other like strangers. It's just sad, and it will probably become worse over time. I always go out of my way to engage in conversation with anyone, and hopefully it brightens their day. I can tell when people are feeling bogged down by it and then I just bring it to a close but you would be surprised at how many people are just waiting for someone, anyone, to talk to them.

Who really wants to navigate through this world while being treated like they are invisible? :wow:

People forget the Covid era when there was no one to talk to
