I think y'all play to much simulated baseball/football games shyt ain't realistic for the most part at all.

Man you stop it. Like I said before everybody got a Delorean and now everybody running cutthroat records too. Compared to what he would have got on the open market this was a steal at the time but you and people on here are the only smart ones. Great yall might as well be scouts and help the Phils out since yall are so good at advance projections. I can agree with the other stuff but people really care about great 1st baseman now? The left handed stuff I agree 100% with and don't get that at all.

Howard was producing but anybody could see the holes in his game. Struggled against good pitching, couldn't hit lefties, and struck out far too much. Him getting hurt was just the kicker. Phillies should've paid him, but giving him Pujols money when he wasn't even Joey Votto status was just astronomically dumb.

Yeah he got hurt that postseason though not before the contract and if they would have waited probably could have got him cheaper. I can roll with everything else your saying. I'm just saying I didn't hear everybody saying this was a bad deal like that. Maybe I'm in a different part of Philly that's got the Phillies glasses on idk.

I'm 25, and most of the people I know my age who give a fukk about baseball only came round to the Phills in 2008. Suddenly everyone's a fukking expert on pitching and how great the team is. Those Halliday/Lee/Howard/Utley jersey shirts are tucked away deep in closets across the Delaware Valley.

Attendance will pick up a bit in the summer because CBP is a pretty nice hangout venue but tickets haven't been hard to come by for the last couple of years. My bro and I went to a game free of charge last summer, his job was giving away decent tickets behind the plate.
