People don't realize how much those batteries are now and the next 10 years. Until majority of cars are electric those battery prices won't go down any time soon. It's trash but it's the truth.
Manufacturing EVs have more of a environmental impact than producing ICE vehicles. While this is offset over time since those vehicles don't have tailpipe emissions, the electricity used to fuel these cars still use fossil fuels in many areas. The Biden infrastructure bill can help allievaite that, but until we switch our energy requirements to be mostly from renewable sources, the impact between both sets of vehicles aren't very different right now.

If republican politicians came out and supported EVs or anything else deemed good for the environment, conservatives will to. They don’t have a spine and blindly follow whatever their candidate says

Like I said, everything is going electric. There was a thread the other day on how Dodge is getting rid of the V8 Helcat SRT lineups. If you watched the entire presentation, dude said why too. V8’s are becoming obsolete.. especially if not an SUV or Truck. Cars are only 1/4 of their sales now. Dodge going electric with their muscle cars starting here
