The Coli has value within the e-community that is the internet. If something has value it should be maintained/improved is the way I see it. And the owners of this website make profit off the revenue.

Why should we let it die out simply because it’s free?

I mean look at reddit. It’s free to post but it’s well run and has tremendous value. No reason why the Coli can’t or shouldn’t be able to keep serving this demographic. One of the few places for the black voice to be heard and appreciated.

There should always be a super mod or admin to address member questions or concerns in the help section on a forum. If you look at this section, there is zero representation of that. It makes members feel like they're being ignored and nothing is actually being addressed, whether its bad mod decision making, questions on functions, etc.

Coli has had a great run.. Provided a lot of entertainment and laughter,, shared a lot of info
...Let's not talk down about what was actually accomplished

Coli 'S active development has been over since early 2016.. Any attempt at tweaks stopped circa January 2017.. I mean, anyone can see that much

Could more have been done?? Just like Benjamin, could the coli have achieved more?? Possibly...

But it's a lot of work and sacrifice
If you play 800 games, you are going through injuries.. Pain..
Likewise.. To develop the coli was a heavy burden
When people can't or don't want to do it anymore.. You shouldn't attack them
It disrespects how difficult it is to run a busy/successful forum for any amount of time
And acts like anything less than 20 years of absolute all star output is an annoying waste of time

So appreciate what was actually done (as others have said)
..or,,, go start your own thing (like they did in 2012)
But to keep woofing at them on the very platform they created is beyond shytty

Been on a downward trajectory on the whole for a good 3-4 years now . Remember when posters would make a terrible thread or predict something that didn’t happen and we used to get a banner up top with a clever caption signaling a neg train? When was the last one? The Carmelo to Houston thread by @Illuminatos back in the summer of 2017? That sort of thing used to be commonplace.

edit: just saw that swagnificent was allowed back again. It’s absolutely time for us all to let this site go if the people running the site can’t be bothered to permanently ban even him.

This place had two bad foundations:

1. Letting toxic behavior thrive "for fukkery" reasons, even at the expense of substance. Akin to the inmates running the asylum.
2. Being under the guise that the forum would still be held by its owners and transparency be the way forwards.

#1 really nukes the forum quality, and #2 just ensures nothing will be done because the way since has been mostly the other way.
