I don't get why people are making such a big deal out of how much other teams spent on our players. Those same players, for the most part, didn't do shyt last year... Most of them are average or outright suck. Teams overpaid for trash lol

Yea. Teams overpaid for our mid players last year. It actually makes us a desirable free agent destination.

Like our 6 round swing tackle got a 30 million dollar contract.

Don't know about making a big deal out of it. It's legit a fact that a record amount of money was spent on our former players, lol.

If anything, it just shows there was no way we could keep them considering all the fukking money the market was willing to pay for them. Dre is the only one were the money was justifiable but breh wanted to be LB1 and that wasn't going to happen with Fred here so Dre was gone anyways

It did destroy any semblance of depth we could've had though. Even if we have an awesome draft, a couple of injuries will leave us with 4th stringers starting

Scouts, GMs, media pundits and fans don't like being wrong so they will double down and triple down even when they look like idiots.

at this point the 9ers are hitched to brock so this contract will either make or break the 9ers for the next few years. if brock becomes the franchise player that can lead this team without an all-pro cast around him then great. if he becomes trevor lawrence or tua then we are cooked.
