You don't spend that amount for 2 years. Wasn't he hurt this past season :what:
This past season he had the 2nd most receiving yards in his career and 2nd most TDs. He was 13th in the league for receiving yards. He missed 2 games.

TYRONE GA!
I don't care. You don't waste money on a aging TE when you have a Swiss cheese online.
Love George but agree.

It's only 40 million guaranteed so not real mad at the number. his contract could have been voided after next season anyway.

So it's looking like Coli brehs will be on the offensive line next season. They better not overpay Brock especially now since he might not even make it the season.

Unfortunately it's gonna happen. The 2024 offseason will go down as one of the WOATs.

Not trading Aiyuk before the draft.

Big money extension to injury prone aging CMC.

Big money extension to injury prone aging Trent.

Terrible free agent class.

Overrated draft.

Second terrible DC hire in a row.

Purdy gonna get a huge contract, fanbase will turn on him this year. He showed what he is last year. Very good but not close to elite. Can't elevate a mediocre roster. OL will be a disaster. Defense gonna need a bunch of rookies and second year players to show out. No doubt CMC, Trent and Kittle all gonna miss games with injuries only question is how many. Wouldn't be surprised if Aiyuk miss half the season or more. Jennings and Pearsall both #3 type receivers. All signs point to another bad year. That happen the vibes around the team will be rough heading into the offseason and 2026 will be do or die for the whole program.

The thing that bothers me about the Brock stuff is that we all kinda see what's gonna happen. This OL is gonna expose his biggest flaws and the narrative around dude is gonna be he's a bum getting way too much money. And all of that could've been avoided :francis:

I said last year that Kyle Shanahan is going to ruin Brock Purdy. I still gasp at that Vikings game where 3 offensive linemen were thrown on the ground as their defensive line dominates on what was a crucial play. This team waffles so much at key junctures. The fact that the Brock Purdy negotiations are taking as long as they are is concerning.

Niners going to end up trading Brock to Pittsburgh. Jeff got his boy Mac Jones finally. He's got his Kirk Cousins type player

Low key one of the things I hated in the draft was the Rams fleeing the Falcons

This means that basically any qb who comes out on top next year, Rams can take as they will have the most draft capital to offer teams to trade up :francis:

The good thing is that it's practically impossible to predict if a highly drafted QB will be worth a damn :heh:
