Eh. We got Chase Young for a pretty cheap and he is going to get less snaps than Chase, we just need some veterans who can keep the starters fresh and Saleh tends to use the rotations more aggressively.

It's all about the price, imo. If Clowney comes with a cheap price it's better to have him just off the strength of having more depth than what we have now. If he asks for even decent amount of money he's not worth it though

His last contract was a basically a 2 year deal and the Panthers cut him before paying him the 2nd year. Basically shouldn't cost more than 5-6 million max.

I don't think the Niners pull the trigger on him. They probably will go younger. Post June 1st cuts could provide that.
