We're from the country. Red clay dirt, one stop sign, moved to the city peoples. Is your family born in America? If so they need to do a documentary on this![]()
Both my mom and dad grew up farming. Awesome stuff. Literally grew everything that went into their bodies. Peanuts, okra, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes, peppers, collards, beans, squash, croaker, brim.
I'm serious. We grew up struggling so marriage was important. You can't get anywhere divorced or by yourself. And when they get older, we have grandparents live with us which is why it's important to build wealth and take care of your elders.
My generation of cousins male and female on both sides of my mom and dad's family are all single and childless b/c we've been puttin in work growing up struggling. When we looked around at the dating pool, shyt like this thread is what we see...lol! Children OOW ain't allowed in my family, so nobody has grand kids yet. Lmao! All of us are about to adopt or find mates overseas!
We're just not about that life. That's what I grew up seeing so stuff like this is completely alien to me. I joined a couple of dating sites the other night and all I saw was dudes with illegitimate kids and Hats and blunts in their mouths. My dad would knock the hell outta me if my mother didn't kick my azz first if I even thought about bringing somebody like that home. Between the two of them I don't know who has the best right hook...
That's how a family is suppose to be.These days families are so broken with kids all over the place, terrible spouse selection.Reason why I asked if yall were from America because it is rare families are still like this.
The lies you men tell yourselves. The better with age only applies until you hit your 40s. It's down hill from there buddy. Some men are lucky and make it to 50 but those are so few it's neglectable.
