Is your family born in America? If so they need to do a documentary on this :ohhh:
We're from the country. Red clay dirt, one stop sign, moved to the city peoples.

Both my mom and dad grew up farming. Awesome stuff. Literally grew everything that went into their bodies. Peanuts, okra, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes, peppers, collards, beans, squash, croaker, brim.

I'm serious. We grew up struggling so marriage was important. You can't get anywhere divorced or by yourself. And when they get older, we have grandparents live with us which is why it's important to build wealth and take care of your elders.

My generation of cousins male and female on both sides of my mom and dad's family are all single and childless b/c we've been puttin in work growing up struggling. When we looked around at the dating pool, shyt like this thread is what we see...lol! Children OOW ain't allowed in my family, so nobody has grand kids yet. Lmao! All of us are about to adopt or find mates overseas!

We're just not about that life. That's what I grew up seeing so stuff like this is completely alien to me. I joined a couple of dating sites the other night and all I saw was dudes with illegitimate kids and Hats and blunts in their mouths. My dad would knock the hell outta me if my mother didn't kick my azz first if I even thought about bringing somebody like that home. Between the two of them I don't know who has the best right hook...

All jokes aside that's a real blessed family right there :salute: That's how a family is suppose to be.These days families are so broken with kids all over the place, terrible spouse selection.Reason why I asked if yall were from America because it is rare families are still like this.

I've been dating quite a bit lately and the push back I've gotten from some dudes for not participating in hook up culture has really given me a wake up call. Growing up I thought our family was kinda the norm. We've been stuck in a bubble struggling and trying to help my parents b/c we grew up poor. There were times we didn't have lights or water, hell we didn't really even have cable growing up. But we saved and got smarter about money and homeownership and our generation made sure we kept our grades up to get opportunities.

Man we've been in the hustle. So now, things are good and we can chill and focus on dating but it's a bunch of bullshyt our here kinda like this thread.

My ex's married friends were so busy with work (and would come home so tired) that they literally have a spreadsheet/calendar set up with designated dates for sex... And it's not even weekly, it's bi-weekly at the most frequent. Not joking. shyt is the saddest thing I've ever heard in my life. here's a guy who probably fell in love, and as a result all logic and reason exited his brain and he began thinking like a broad, imagining the fairy tale life where they'd complete each others sentences and have passionate love every day and go to sleep marinating in each others juices

instead he married a workaholic who he had to negotiate with to set "guaranteed" sex nights. like the thing he looks forward to is that little alert on your phone for upcoming appointments... and his is 10 minutes of missionary sex with his tired wife :scusthov:

Can confirm, married sex life levels 2% of unmarried sex life.

Yeah nothing more desirable than a 50 y/o man with a head full of grays wearing an outfit that's top and bottom are the same color. :russ:The lies you men tell yourselves. The better with age only applies until you hit your 40s. It's down hill from there buddy. Some men are lucky and make it to 50 but those are so few it's neglectable.:mjlol:

You seem to forget that women get wet over money...you should know tho, you're a female!
See, when we're young we can rely on our looks to get mates, when we get older we rely on our money.
We can't lose! (If we play it right)
By the time most men (that are worth half a damn) are 50, they're stackin dollars!
By the time I'm 50 I'll be well into the 6-figure range at my current progression rate.

So unless you're telling me that society is going to somehow have a complete turnaround and women are going to redact hundreds...no, THOUSANDS of years of their typical predictable actions...

Things will continue as they are, and those men with the money will continue to get the women.

80 Percent of Divorces Are Filed By Women

According to the National Center for Health Statistics 50 percent of marriages in the United States end in divorce. Of the marriages that end in divorce, 80 percent of the divorces are initiated (filed) by women.

Not surprising.
They're brought up with this BS fairytale ideology about living life happily forever after with a mate.
Then when they get smacked with reality and realize the whole thing is just a fairytale...they bail.
Marriage is harder work than going to 2 damn jobs!!
Most don't realize the IMMENSE amount of work it takes to make and KEEP a successful marriage!

Like I said putting that kind of power in a emotional see saw known as a woman's brain is mindblown

Aspire to be someone's come up bruhs

Ya'll money is desirable. You are not desirable. You are less desirable but your money makes you tolerable and also quite replaceable. But it's cool. Keep thinking someone wants to play with your soon to be old white haired Viagra infested balls. :russ:

Thanks but it's hard b/c people look at you like ur crazy now a days for stuff I think is just common sense. There's a big reason why ALL my cousins, male AND female are single and childless.
Also I'm starting to get a little tired of running into dudes who are jaded b/c of their past choices in women. It's like I'm being punished b/c they got burned for chasing azz and titties with no substance.
I mean dudes coming off straight rude and confrontational on dates.

I'm sitting in Panera Bread with my DS right now about to meet up with a dude I met online. But prior to the meetup, you would've thought I was the FBI trying to do a raid on a trap house!
"Oh u SAY u new to online dating, huh?"
"Oh I don't answer those types of questions,"
"Oh date long enuff and you'll peep the game!"

Like damn! I'm not going to be punished for someone else's prior lack of judgement in a mate. I give everyone I meet the benefit of the doubt but people so closed off in our culture. Dating shouldn't be stressful. Oh well. We'll see how it goes.
