Really this one kinda run of the mill. You can protest outside the stadium but no one is going to let protesters against a guest country do their thing during the game no matter what country it is.

It's the part where China trying to force the NBA to regulate what their employees say on their own personal twitter accounts where the over-the-line bullshyt is.
From their perspective how would that be over the line though?? Would you let someone use your platform while their employees shyt on you? :yeshrug:

Breh, you realize that every multinational corporation in the world has employees that speak out on global politics? :gucci:

If everyone moved this way there ain't a government in the world that wouldn't have someone to bytch about from every company they do business with. You don't think actors and directors in Disney flicks ever have anything to say about any of the countries their movies play in? Yet Disney is still there. You don't think Google engineers ever speak out about Brexit or immigration detention in Australia? None of them gonna ban Google for that. Nor any of the tiny companies.

Can you imagine if the USA started trying to regulate on every corporation that had an employee who shytted on American policy? :skip:

The more I read about the shyt, it doesn't seem like China is really being that much of dikkheads against the people of HK. The extradition was on a case by case basis too. The law was even shot down, but China arrested a lot of the protesters and they are in Chinese jails apparently. That still has a lot of the HK cats hot.

Which is exactly what Honk Kong is tight about...because that extradition law was just going to be an excuse for China to throw people in Honk Kong in Jail for whatever reason.

It also doesn't help that the people feel their top officials like Carrie Lam are just doing China's bidding...by doing stuff like enacting a anit mask law...because the number 1 thing you want to tell your angry and frustrated population who is already on the verge of revolt...is that they can't wear a mask while doing it...

And of course you not going to see China out here putting boot to neck on the hong kong people...thats not how they operate...just like you don't see the US with troops in other countries putting boot to neck...cause thats not how we operate neither...

But...ask them other countries how they neck feel though?
