I remember my fiances cousin bugging her to buy the first one when we got our ps3. Wasn't really into it and returned it for another game. I havent played a skating game since proving grounds tho so hopefully it'll hit psn soon for 5.

loved the first two but in typical EA fashion, they pumped out the Skate games yearly with no real graphical or technical upgrade and I got burnt out. was planning on skipping 3 with hopes that the jump between 2 and 4 would warrant a purchase but they gave up on it after 3. they just wanted to take advantage of the growing skate culture and dipped when the popularity did

I played the Skate games a lot. me and the homies would do '3 falls and pass the controller'. as a skateboarder, the Skate games were better to me. but obviously THPS gets much props for paving the way
