This feels like it picks up where "Music For My Friends" left off. That melancholy, jazzy laid back just reminiscing and telling stories. I felt like the Apollo Brown album was a lot more somber.

Two listens in and this is straight, Sky's been creeping into my top 10 ever since "Dream Deferred".

I can see why people say he is boring. His flow is airtight and his voice is great but he isnt a great lyricist. That being said, there is no Hip Hop artist that I have listened to more in the past 3 years. He just makes quality music and he picks the best beats. Even this tracks he got from Apollo still sound like Apollo but you can tell the distinct beats that Sky likes and picks. He hasnt made a wack album yet. the Apollo album and M4MF were both dope in different ways.

He always gets the best !llmind beats too. Idk wtf Joell was doing when he picked those tracks for Human.

and yeah, Sky my dude but that "is what it is when it was what is wasnt" shyt be tired.
